friday!
finally can rest after 5 days of school.
so i'll try to make this post as cheerful as possible. ;D

school was okay.
cause we only had 5 lessons.
but they all very long so drag until 2.15pm.
we had home econs. ;D
quite interesting larr.
how i wish we could do all this cooking stuff in sec 1 too. XD

then went to play soccer.
was feeling very in top form to play soccer.
so sorry yongyu and those who went to JE.
for not coming with you all.
i really want to play soccer today.

then got this girl whom i never even seen before at the wooden table there.
she told me that my shooting sucks when i went to get the ball someone shot out.
wth larr.
it's like watever lorr.
i don't even know this girl for a start.
then she just like come up to me to tell me i can't shoot.
but i gave my best smile and told her: 'yup. i can't shoot like you said.'
then i walked off to continue playing.
and i did a volley hit-the-bar-then-goal shot.
i bet she saw that.
she should have came up to me and told me i rock.
but she didn't. ;D

it's weird why some people like to critisize you when they can't even do it better than you.
i don't mind if henry or lampard comes up to me to tell me i can't shoot.
but instead a girl came and told me that.
LOLs. i spent so long talking about this girl.
shall get on with this post.

played soccer till 5.30 i think.
the ball's damn nice to control.
but i was keeper for a long time.
LOLs.
i can't save a ball larr.
but there must be a keeper in a team.
i prefer being midefield can.
can run around.
not like keeper.
stuck to one place.
but keeper is less tiring.
and YAY my dribbling improved.
from last time larr.
cause i got practice at home.
in cramp places in which you have to turn and twist around for the ball to get through.
and you watch the video of tricks will get influenced one leh. XD

as a result of all that soccer.
my feet's very pain larr.
all the twisting in my school shoe.
my soles are going to spoil larr like that.

first day of school. ;D
everyone looks so drained out
to wake up early in the morning for school today.

lessons were okay.
we had a new teacher for lang arts.
her name is ms pamela cheng.
nice teacher. ;D
she wanted to know us better
so she asked us what superhero we would want to be.
what we would do with 1 million dollars.
and what life-changing experiences we had.
if i had answered
i would have wanted to be the flash.
cause he can do things fast.
and i would put the million dollars in my bank. XD
and i haven't had any big life-changing experinces too.
but all the little things in life have shaped me into what i am today.

we learnt something about linear graphs in math lesson.
we learnt a formula:
GRAD = (y1-y2)/(x1-x2)
or
GRAD= (y2-y1)/(x2-x2)

mr bryan tan told us something about
the height of mountains in geog lesson.
mount faber is 105m.
bukit timah hill is <160m.
then mount everest is 8000m.
and the altitude the plane is flying at is about 12000m. (?)
that was some interesting facts i thought.
cause why they don't parachute out of the plane to mount everest. ;D

didn't play soccer today.
went home with szefan instead.
we wanted to eat KFC
but too many people.
so we ate MAC.
the fries there are just great.
awesome stuff. ;D
with BBQ sauce and sweet chili it tastes even better.
but that's me though.
you may not like it. XD

went to a spectacle shop also.
to look for szefan's specs.
the specs looked cool there. XD

then went to popular to buy a dictionary.
i can't find the type i wanted.
i wanted OXFORD STUDY DICTIONARY-THESAURUS.
but i just can't find it.

went home and did homework.

went to play soccer with my sis in the park initially.
since szefan isn't free. ;D
but that's okay.
i get to play soccer with my sis.
so she striker.
i goaley.
and heyy goaley is so fun larr.
cause i was playing without shoes,
since i can't play soccer with my slippers.
cause they'll break off.
i need a new pair. ;D

but back to the goaley part.
all you need to become a good goaley is a pair of gloves
and some fast reflexes.
i guess.
but i'm not the pro here when it comes to goalkeeping.
hahax. but i had fun still.

then after a while i saw lianbing and bingwei and their friends.
lianbing is my neighbour and bingwei is his friend.
saw them playing soccer.
so i also go join them.
i left my sis at the playground.
cause she didn't want to play with us. ;D
but i wasn't wearing shoes.
so my feet hurt a lot larr.
wasn't able to play well.
went home after a while.
my heel was screaming inside when i reached home. ;D
now still a bit pain but it will be alright when school starts.
i hope. :D

last weekday of the holidays.
and what a memorable day it was. ;D

had training today.
the coach with short hair was very funny larr.
so training was fun.
me and yongyu slacked PT also. XD

after that yongyu, yongzhi, clement wanted to watch a movie.
so i went along too.
we watched FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER.
it was damn nice larr.
you all should go watch also.
strongly recommended for people who like to see drama scenes too.
cause at the ending, silver surfer went to sacrifice himself to save planet earth and invisible woman. ;D
and i think the movie still has a similar moral like spiderman to be learnt:
everybody have choices.
and i guess the silver surfer chose the right one. ;D

i saw the making of the show on TV before.
and the creator of the FANTASTIC FOUR
actually acted in the show.
but he played only like 1 scene of the show only larr.
the creator means like the real creator.
the one with the ideas to make these characters.
i find that quite amazing larr.
how they find the creator then put him into the show which was created by him indirectly.
if you get what i mean. ;D

i think still got one more sequel to FANTASTIC FOUR larr.
cause at the end of the show
the surfboard with all the powers was taken back.
then it just like flew off by its own.
cool stuff.

then went queensway shopping centre buy RV socks and PE shirt. XD
PE shirt buy one get one free leh. ;D

went home after that.

can't believe holidays so fast past le.
and soon it's time for school again.
but to think of it.
schooling is better than working in offices.

then can play better.
we won 2 doubles game today.
great achievement for me and clement.
cause we lost 1 game at first.
but we discussed tactics and won the next 2 matches.
we changed our clear shots to push shots.
therefore opponent cannot smash.
muahaha.
and even if they do smash we saved it. XD

then gamed the whole afternoon.
well half of the whole afternoon.
balanced that up by doing english assessment.

why does time pass so fast.

THE BOXER by KATHLEEN KARR
as the title suggests,
this book is about a lightweight boxer.
trying to support his whole family.
but his just the son not the father of the family.
his father left their family so now the family only has his mum, 5 siblings and himself.
he 'works' as a boxer throughtout the whole story.
although at different places.
but the money he earns, he spends it on his family.
great determination shown by him.

so that's about all for today.
i want to play soccer so much. ;D
then tomorrow i free to play soccer.
but szefan got training. LOLs.
and i dunno if my neighbour is free to play soccer with me.
no one is free to play soccer.
but i don't blame it on anyone though.

well so every salesman promoted a different brand.
so it was very confusing to decide what to buy.
in the end didn't buy anything cause we shop until 8pm then the shops all closing le.
but it was interesting to watch how salesman try to promote and sell you their products. ;D

other than that there was nothing else special that happened le.

had a really really fun time at class reunion. ;D
it was at SENTOSA!
went out late to vivo cause i was gaming.

bought the ticket to sentosa and then boarded the sentosa express.
we went to the LUGE & SKYRIDE.
very exciting stuff. XD

LUGE was like a go-cart.
but there's no accelerate pedal.
only the go pedal and the stop pedal.
pull back to stop then release to the middle to let it run.
i was wondering what would happen if someone crashes halfway.
there's like only grass at the side of the road.

went down the road with tunren.
LOLs.
very exhilarating stuff.
got to read the signs when you come down the road.
they help. ;D
and have to steer a bit.

then we went for the skyride.
it's like cable car.
but theres no cover and no place to land your legs on.
that was nice.
cause we got to see the scenery. ;D

then we went to the beach.
nice sand.
though it was a bit hot to the feet.
played soccer, captain's ball.
then we played twister.
hahax. i can't get that game well.

then a few of us played basketball with some other people at the beach.
they looked big and like those beach people. [dark and strong!] ;D
but we beat them by one point.that's because we outnumbered them.
5 to 3. ;D

then went home early.
cause need buy dinner for my family.
reached home at 8.35pm!
bus took a long time. XD

OH!
and hahax.
i remembered the drinks there were very expensive.
2.85 is the most expensive for one pepsi.
then cheapest is a dollar for one can of coke.

first day of june.
what would you expect to happen for the rest of the month.
ntn much i guess.

woke up early to go to science centre.
my mum drove and went to pick szefan up.
then we got there pretty early.

and heyy,
its not as bad as i thought.
the talks were humourous.
yeah sort of.
the demos were funny.
and the exhibits were fun to explore too.
shall upload the pics some other day.

i still remember the professor who gave a speech,
on 'science in the 21st century'.
he said smt like:
"scientists that do work on physics and chemistry,
always can make out some kind of laws for how an object works
and stuff like that.
but biologists can't do that.
because they can't always be certain that organisms 100% behave that way.
so they always say stuff like 'most of the time'."

hahax. quite rite.
don't you agree?
even as non-scientists,
we all can make out the fact that we can't be certain of the behaviours of an organism.
for example US.
as in me and you.
and no, not United States of America. ;D

back to the point,
we can't even be certain of the behaviours of our own race.
and that can be really really very TRUE.
you can never be certain that you really understand him/her.

had lunch with szefan, grace and alvin at MAC.
one of my favourite places to eat.
i have no reason why i like MAC so much.
but sometimes,
you really don't need to have a reason to like something.

read a book today.
and it belongs to one of my favourite 'genres'.
war-time novels.
nice book called "UNDER A WAR-TORN SKY".

story's about a pilot whose plane had crashed into neutral grounds.
like you know war have allies and axis. (?) [like 2 forces of war/ good and bad]
then also got neutral.
countries which don't want to be part of the action.
and don't have a reason to fight.

yeah so the pilot survived and he found help fortunately.
and was given a chance to fly back to england i think;
where he came from.
but he had to make a journey across the france and portugal where there were germans.
so it was not a very smooth journey.
and so that's the part where its the best.
i mean there's like smt for the reader to read.

exciting book that one.
war-time novels.
with rifles and jets.
that's so out of the mordern context larr.
and i guess that's what makes it appealing to readers.
we readers want to read about something that's not in our daily lives,
don't you agree?
